User Intent - Definition & use cases

User intent explains the specific purpose/interest/action of a user behind asking a query. Intent focuses on the action that users want to be taken. For instance, when a user asks chatbot or virtual assistant to 'Book a cab', here intent refers as 'Book', while when a user asks 'How to book a cab', the intent changes to 'How to'. In both scenarios, the user wants to avail a cab, but the intent in both cases are different. Therefore, it gets essential to take precise actions based on user intent.
